Luis Angel Castro is one of the most renowned singers and authors in Costa Rica, the country where he was born in 1958. After he completed his studies in Philosophy, he started his musical career. Luis Angel started writing songs at age 21. Winner of several recognition awards in Costa Rica for his abundant musical production, he has represented his country in different musical festivals in Mexico, United States, Cuba, Central America and Spain. In December 1998 he starts his own record label called Walaba Productions. Luis Angel represented his country in the2007 edition of the Festival Villa del Mar with the song 'Así Me Siento (That’s how I feel)'.
